We Are Committed To Your Safety
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW FOR YOUR FIRST VISIT
We cherish our community at Village Yoga. Being born in 2020, Village Yoga understands that the safety and health of our tribe is a top concern for us all. In fact, we built our studio with this in mind.

I’m nervous about attending my first class and don’t know what to expect.
Don’t worry, we were there once too! We encourage students to jump right into any of our classes. Our instructors will guide you and offer modifications and variations. If you’d like some assistance getting started before jumping into a class, you’re welcome to sign up for a private lesson.
What do I need to bring?
We provide loaner mats and towels. Just bring some water and yourself! (If you forget water, we sell bottled water for $1.)
How early do I need to arrive for my first class?
If you have never been to our studio, please arrive 15 minutes early so you can have any questions answered then find a place and get settled in. Please note: we lock the doors when class begins.
Do I need to be a member or sign up before class?
No, you don’t but it does save time before class if you have already logged in, signed your waiver and booked your class. That way, once you arrive you can focus on getting settled in.
What do people wear?
We recommend yoga pants or shorts, athletic bras, tank tops, or any comfortable shirt that is not too loose.
Where are you located and where do I park?
We are in the Springhill area, located behind Soul Bowlz and Cara and Co at 4407-A Old Shell Road. You can park anywhere in the main lot, behind Soul Bowlz or in the church parking lot. Please do not park in the spaces for Cara and Co.
Are the classes hot (and how hot)?
Our Hot 60 is heated to 95 degrees and our Heated Flows are heated at 91 degrees. Slow Flow classes are warm, ranging from 76-82 depending on how warm it is outside.
What kind of Covid precautions does the studio take?
Being “born” in 2020, Village Yoga understands that the safety and health of our tribe is a top concern for us all. In fact, we built our studio with this in mind.
VENTILATION & AIR FILTRATION
-
Our HVAC system is equipped with an additional ventilation and fan system that powerfully suctions and removes the old air from the studio allowing fresh air to replace it after each class.
-
UV Air Sanitizers are strategically placed throughout our building and in our studio. These filters utilize UV-C to reduce airborne germs.
CLEANING
-
Throughout the day and between each class, all high-touch surfaces throughout the building, including the yoga studio floor, will be cleaned and disinfected.
EQUIPMENT & RENTALS
-
If possible, please bring your own mats, towels, water, and props. However, we will have bottled water for purchase and properly cleaned and sanitized rentals available if necessary. Also, we ask that you please leave your personal belongings at home to the extent possible.
